Blueair gives this wick two lifetimes. Its store page lists a 1-year lifetime and its subscription ships one wick every 12 months, while the FAQ on the same page says to replace it every 6 months, as does Blueair's Amazon listing, which bases that figure on about 10 hours of use a day.
Cleaning is split the same way: one FAQ answer says once a month, another says weekly while in use. At 10 hours a day, 6 months is about 1,800 hours, or roughly 75 days of round-the-clock running. Blueair says the filter light counts fan speed, usage time and pollution levels.

The Blueair pages we read say nothing about third-party wicks or about what one would do to the warranty. Most wicks Amazon shows for a DreamWell search are third-party parts; Blueair's own carries part number 113807.
